Almost a year ago I wrote a list of things to do. I'm leaving the ones I did up through the year prior italicized and I'll bold the ones I have done in the last year.

Go to a cooking class

Horse back riding in Hyde Park
Go for a motorcycle ride (hopefully soon)
Get a tattoo
Change my hair color (this weekend-I'm thinking red)
Go to Feltre alone
Go see a movie alone
Go rollerskating
Go to the Tate Modern
Build my exit strategy (in process)
Be a feminist (there are a couple of things percolating for this one)

Send someone a letter
Make a little something and give it away
Float in an inner tube
Spend a day doing nothing
Do some cloud watching
Fly a kite
Go to a roller derby
Go for a boat ride
Look at old family pictures
Go to an arcade and play Addams Family
Buy a painting
Have my picture taken
Leave an ATM (Always Trust magic)note

Go to a Cubs game (tomorrow!!)
Go to a batting cage
Speak Arabic in an Arabic speaking country
Updated to add:
Speak French in France
Build a new exit strategy.
Play futbol
Go hiking in the mountains in Kurdistan.
I need to think about this list. Things are so restrictive here in Sulaimaniya that it is hard to dream of things to do. Over the last six months I have been blessed to travel more and I am much more comfortable being a little lost, not having a plan or not understanding the language. I am also much more comfortable in my own skin. I am more confident and I know that I can accomplish a lot with a little bit of planning and ingenuity. Right now, I am not sure what is coming up next. I want to come home, but part of me wants to explore so much more.

What is an ATM note?
It means Always Trust Magic and you leave little notes for people at ATMS. I would probably get arrested as a spy if I tried to do it here! It is under mission here http://www.whoisamy.com/. Also, watch the beckoning of lovely.
